See the new Oyster 675 at Boot Düsseldorf 2017
Located in Hall 16, stand C58 we welcome the opportunity to meet with you, discuss your sailing plans and show you the Oyster 675. We will also have information on the rest of our range from 47' to 118’.
Commenting on the appeal of the 675, the owner of hull number one said the decision couldn’t have been easier: “For me the 675 fitted my requirements exactly. I wanted a quality, statement, high performance yacht that I could rely on, with enough space for my young family and friends to enjoy in comfort.
Although she is only an extra five feet over the 625, which is the model I first considered, the extra volume has given us a lot more interior to ‘play’ with. Given her size, I was also keen to have the option of a crew cabin incorporated off the main saloon, which cleverly separates it from the owner/guest areas.
Also, as someone from a racing background, I was keen to have a yacht that performed well, so that I could spice things up when required for fast passages and a spot of racing in Oyster regattas. Given her powerful hull and rig design, I believe the 675 will deliver on all counts.”
Sailing Today Editor, Sam Fortescue, tested the Oyster 675 and wrote,“A boat of this size is a very serious investment, and you want to know that you don’t have to think about every tiny detail yourself. Oyster’s long years of building bluewater blockbusters means exactly that – their designers and technicians have sweated all the small stuff for you. Every decision has been weighed up carefully to deliver a boat that is, above all, safe, solid and seamanlike. There are some new features on board for a family Oyster – the huge fold-down bathing platform and moulded-in bowsprit, for example. But don’t be fooled; she is still every inch an Oyster. I would unhesitatingly cross oceans in the 675, and expect to do so in considerable comfort.”
