RUTH II

Built by a very experienced owner and maintained by a diligent and skilful crew, Ruth II is 100% ready to go on her next adventure - with an Oyster World Rally specification and a deeply comprehensive and extensive spares list (designed for the OWR). This, coupled with an excellent maintenance history, will give her next owner complete peace of mind.

With ten berths in five cabins, the interior general arrangement allows for flexibility and versatility.  The crew cabin forward makes the forepeak dual purpose with workbench and storage when not in use as a cabin. Two double cabins and two bunk rooms with three heads allow for ease of living even when you have a full complement of guests.

The interior joinery is finished in quarter sawn teak, with horizontal panels and shadow gaps on bulkheads, giving an elegantly warm, modern feel - finished off beautifully with ‘Xtreme Sal’ leather upholstery which is wonderfully practical and durable. 

The specification leaves no stone unturned.  She is capable of setting off at a moment’s notice on any trip.  Ruth II is at home sailing transoceanic or cruising your local favourite bays / cala’s with the rig and sail handling designed for ease of use and shorthanded sailing.  Fingertip control of both headsails and mainsail at each pedestal and the winches leave you in complete control, at all times.  The sails are from North (3Di Ocean ) and have been checked, cleaned, and serviced along with the rig and standing rigging.  Lithium-Ion batteries,  upgraded generation and associated electrics allow for amazing flexibility when using the systems on-board and for very comfortable nights at anchor. Ruth II is owned by a sailor and was specified by a sailor which is evident throughout. She boasts many extra features such as a second complete backup autohelm system, fuel polishing and water treatment systems, hydraulic passerelle, dive compressor, and a stern thruster -   to name but a few. 

With only one owner since launch, and permanent professional maintenance throughout, the next owner will only benefit from the owner and crew's experience and attention to detail.
